Two weeks until the Orlando Heart Walk!
Heart disease research has affected me personally. I mean that in the sense that I was born with congenital heart defects (ventricular septal defects, to be exact) and had open heart surgery at the age of five to repair them. Sixteen years later, my scar is hardly noticeable and I’m able to live at 100% normal life. I would REALLY appreciate it if you pledged me on the walk, or even better, registered to walk yourself!

Today I learned that I have to wake up at 5:00am to catch a bus to the walk. I also learned that survivors of heart disease get a free hat at the event. Cool! Please donate.
